Key Responsibilities
- Order Coordination: Ensure orders move efficiently from waitstaff to the kitchen, prioritizing them for timely service Workable.
- Final Preparation: Assist in plating, adding garnishes, and applying finishing touches to enhance presentation.
- Quality Control: Inspect dishes for accuracy, temperature, and presentation before delivery.
- Communication: Serve as the main link between kitchen and front-of-house staff, relaying order details, modifications, and readiness status.
- Service Flow: Synchronize multiple dishes for the same table so they can be served together.
- Complaint Handling: Address and resolve customer complaints or order discrepancies promptly.
- Sanitation & Maintenance: Keep the expediting area clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
- Support Tasks: Assist with kitchen prep, or running food to tables if needed.
