Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer [Ansible SME] based in Louisville, KY, with the flexibility to work remotely part-time. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support mission-critical applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include automating processes using Ansible, optimizing cloud environments for scalability and efficiency, maintaining database reliability, and contributing to infrastructure and deployment strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will also be essential to ensure seamless integration of software and infrastructure components.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong Familiarity with Ansible is required, alongside other automation tools and best practices
  • Proficiency in Software Development with experience in coding, scripting, and developing automated solutions
  • Prior experience with RabbitMQ
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Infrastructure including configuration management and process automation
  • Expertise in Cloud Computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong command of Linux operating systems, with experience in system administration and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with Databases, including database setup, maintenance, and optimization
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a hybrid (on-site and remote) environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent professional experience is also acceptable
  • Prior experience in the fintech or financial services industry is a plus
