Paralegal (Canada)

Position Overview: 
The ideal candidate will bring 4–5 years of experience in the logistics or supply chain sector with a strong focus on U.S. contract review and management. You will play a critical role in contract lifecycle support, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Proficiency with Spellbook and Ivo is essential, as is being licensed in a recognized governing law society. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Review, draft, and revise a wide range of commercial contracts, with a focus on U.S. jurisdiction agreements. 
• Ensure contracts meet internal standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations. 
• Collaborate with legal counsel, procurement, sales, and operations teams to mitigate risks and ensure legal sufficiency. 
• Utilize Spellbook and Ivo to streamline contract review processes. 
• Maintain contract databases and support document management. 
• Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes affecting the logistics industry. 

Requirements: 

• 4–5 years of relevant paralegal experience, specifically in the logistics/supply chain industry. 
• Proven expertise in reviewing and handling U.S. contracts. 
• Proficiency with Spellbook (AI contract review) and Ivo (contract management system). 
• Membership in good standing with a governing law society (e.g., State Bar or Law Society of a Canadian province). 
• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
