The Warehouse Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments to verify contents and condition.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve warehouse processes and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (Preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- Previous experience in a distribution or logistics setting.
- Basic computer skills including data entry.
- Forklift operator certification. (Preferred)
