Maintenance Technician (Hotel)
As a Maintenance Technician for Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Your skills in maintenance and repair will contribute to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for our guests.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and appliances.
- Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery as needed, including but not limited to lighting fixtures, locks, and furniture.
- Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist with renovation projects, installations, and other special projects as assigned.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure the overall cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of the hotel.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to obtain Gaming license (if applicable).
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Lift and carry heavy objects, tools, and equipment.
- Exposure to various weather conditions when performing outdoor maintenance tasks.
- Moderate physical effort is required.
- Occasional exposure to mild to moderate smoke in certain areas of the hotel.
