LEAD LINE COOK
The Lead Line Cook is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations during assigned shifts, ensuring food is prepared to quality and safety standards, and supporting kitchen staff in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes. This role acts as a working leader, maintaining efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to all food service regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and execute a diverse range of menu items with precision and consistency.
- Lead and inspire kitchen staff to uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu offerings that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor food costs, and minimize waste to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Adapt to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming license.
- Must be able to obtain an ABLE license.
- Previous experience in culinary arts or food service preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Work in a restaurant environment with exposure to smoke. The level of smoke exposure may vary based on the location of the establishment.
- Stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Lift heavy objects as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests and team members.
- Moderate to high noise levels.
