What are the responsibilities and job description for the Massage Therapist position at Tradition Golf Club?
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Massage Therapist at Tradition Golf Club reports directly to the Fitness & Spa Director. They will maintain order and continuity at the front desk and/or Fitness & Spa facility. The Massage Therapist is responsible for the development and implementation of massage therapy services, bodywork, reflexology, and/or any other reasonable massage-related services for TGC members. The massage therapist will communicate with Fitness & Spa Staff & members in a clear manner, and delivers a positive massage experience for members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Arrives for work promptly and with exceptional grooming, wearing the uniform provided.
- Greets each and every guest with a smile and direct eye contact.
- Goes the extra mile for members and guests.
- Ensures the Tradition Golf Club experience for all members and guests.
- Has their workspace (room) all set up with candles lit and mood music on.
- Adheres to policies of the facility and Tradition Golf Club.
- Becomes knowledgeable about the facility, event calendar, and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with members and/or guests.
- Reports any incident or accident to the Fitness & Spa Director.
- Uses time efficiently throughout session. Ensures proper coverage when necessary. I.e. sick day
- Keeps area clear of clutter and personal effects.
- Informs co-worker(s) of pertinent information at the end of the session.
- Informs Fitness & Spa Director of any member, guest, or facility issues.
- Fills out tickets to charge members according to their private session.
- At the end of every session, properly removes dirty laundry from each massage room and transports to laundry room for cleaning.
- Acquires clean bedding to make massage table. Turns off candles and music.
- Makes sure that their area looks as clean as it was when they arrived.

Education and/or Experience
· CPR/AED Certified
· Massage Therapist license
· Possess a valid Driver's License.
Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities
· Familiar with massage tables and how to adjust table height.
· Previous customer service experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications
· Massage Therapist License
