Position Summary

TradeWinds, a financial services firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Client Associate to join our client services team. This role requires a proactive and thoughtful individual who will play a key part in facilitating client requests, establishing and servicing accounts, and supporting both financial advisors and office management through a variety of administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities

Client Account Management – Establish and maintain client accounts efficiently. Respond to client requests promptly and accurately, ensuring confidentiality, professionalism, and a consistently high level of satisfaction.

Administrative Support – Provide essential administrative support to financial advisors and office leadership. Duties include scheduling meetings, preparing reports, maintaining records, and handling correspondence.

Client Interaction – Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment when handling complex client needs. Proactively address inquiries and issues with solutions that align with company policies while aiming to exceed client expectations.

Team Collaboration – Partner with colleagues to enhance the client experience. Learn and apply the TradeWinds client planning style, contribute to process improvements, and support the refinement of client service standards.

Continuous Improvement – Pursue professional growth opportunities and stay current with industry standards, trends, and terminology.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution preferred, but NOT required
  • Experience: Minimum of one year in finance, operations, or a similar role within financial services.
  • Licensing: Series 66 preferred (or willingness to pursue).
  • Skills:
  • Solid understanding of financial industry terminology and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software

Compensation

Salary: $60K - $70K based on qualifications and experience
