Residential Care Worker
Tradewinds Residence is now hiring a Residential Care Worker in our CBRF (Community Based Residential Facility) in which we serve clients affected with mental health or other issues which limit their ability to live independently in the community. These individuals are very high functioning and can come and go freely
Evening and weekend shifts
Starting pay is $17.00 / hour.
Experience working in a Wisconsin group home setting (CBRF, Group Home, Nursing Home) is preferred but not required.
Job Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a High School Diploma or equilvalent
Legal status to work in the US
Valid drivers license (recommended but not required)
Able to pass a background check
CBRF certified or willingness to complete the required training
The main duties will be as follows:
*Administering medications and following physicians orders
*Light housekeeping
*Answer incoming phone calls.
*Assist with fun activities with the residents (play pool, cards, arts & crafts, TV, gaming, etc)
*Some cooking - basically heat and serve on the weekends
*This is a no hands on care facility (no lifting/transferring of clients, no incontinence cares, no wound care, no shower duties)
*Complete resident checks in the building a couple times per day
