Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Commercial Garage Door Installer to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can take charge of installation projects, lead a crew, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise installation of commercial garage doors, operators, and related systems
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
· Ensure all installations meet company standards and local building codes
· Train and mentor junior installers and crew members
· Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients on-site
· Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in real time
· Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
· Enforce safety protocols and job site cleanliness
Qualifications:
· 5 years of experience installing commercial garage doors (required)
· Proven leadership or crew lead experience
· Strong knowledge of commercial door systems, operators, and safety standard Demonstrated ability to weld
· Ability to read technical documents and blueprint
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
· Ability to lift 75 lbs and work at heights
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· OSHA certification
· Experience with high-speed doors, dock equipment, or access control systems
· CDL (a plus, but not required)
