Your Role with the Company :
As a Voice Data Technician, you'll play a crucial role in installing structured cabling to industry standards with minimal supervision or guidance. Your responsibilities include :
- Properly terminating Cat5e and Cat6 cables on the user / workstation end.
- Identifying, pulling, and labeling Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
- Collaborating as part of a larger installation team to ensure industry standards and best practices are upheld for network cabling installations in commercial structures.
- Abel to read blueprints and schematics.
- Capable of independently pulling, identifying, and labeling Copper and Fiber cabling and installing support structures with minimal direct supervision.
- Exposure to using a four-pair tester.
- Proficiency with industry-specific hand tools related to commercial network cabling, such as toners, snips, punch tools, and ringers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must have Valid Driver’s license and own transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
