Are you a carpenter looking for a long-term home with a top-tier construction firm in Pittsburgh? We are currently seeking reliable Carpenters for a Temp-to-Hire, full-time position in Latrobe, PA and surrounding areas. This is a unique opportunity to show off your positive attitude and carpentry skillset in order to transition into a permanent role with our customers.
Role Details
- Status: Temp-to-Hire (Opportunity to transition to permanent role after 6 months)
- Location: Various Residential and Commercial project sites across the Latrobe, PA and surrounding areas
- Pay Rate: $20-$32 per hour, depending on field experience
- Schedule: Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week) with potential for overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of rough and finish carpentry tasks, including metal/wood stud framing, drywall installation, cabinetry, etc.
- Install windows, doors, frames, hardware, and interior/exterior trim.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building codes to ensure accurate layout and execution
- Utilize hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble building materials
- Ensure all work meets high-quality craftmanship standards and strictly follows OSHA safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience: Any carpentry trade school or construction field experience
Requirements
- Reliable Transportation to local job sites
- Must have own hand tools and proper PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, work gloves),
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working from heights
