JOB SUMMARY
The Ministry Engagement Operations Lead is a vital part of our Ministry Engagement team. The Ministry Engagement Operations Lead will lead the charge in sustaining and maintaining effective systems and processes that support and guide our Ministry Engagement teams and executing the operational details of Ministry Engagement projects and events across all campuses. This role will provide administrative and organizational support to the Ministry Engagement Pastor and the following teams: Engagement Team, Welcome Desk, and Park.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
DUTIES/PRIMARY JOB PRODUCTS
- Lead all operational processes while maintaining a high level of detail for the Ministry Engagement Department
- Advocate for Ministry Engagement efforts across all central teams (i.e.,IT,MarComm, Finance, Environments)
- Partner with Ministry Engagement Pastor in onboarding and training new Engagement Directors
- Train and equip any Engagement Director that is launching a new campus operationally to align systems and processes
- Collaborate with the Creative Department in the planning and execution of the weekend experience
- Oversee the Ministry Engagement calendar, including monthly calendars, special events, campus activations, trainings, orientations, First Step classes, and Difference Maker Rallies
- Coordinate and collaborate on ongoing Difference Maker initiatives (sermon series CTA, RootedFastPass, holiday trainings, church-wide events and logistics)
- Work with the Engagement Directors to build a healthy team ofDifference Makers to execute special events across all campuses including
- Coordinate and manage the distribution of lobby experience décor and supplies for holidays and/or sermon series events
- Lead the team in executingEngagement Pathway including First Step and Next Steps
- Maintaining up-to-date processes for handling Contact Us requests.
- Train and support team members
- Maintain up-to-date data in ROCK and oversight of all Ministry Engagement dashboards
- Manage processes and workflows to ensure that ministry efforts are effective and scalable across campuses(Asana,Advance Planning,XLedger, Planning Center,Azumar)

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to coordinate and execute events at all levels
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Extensive knowledge of project management and administration
- Ability to resolve conflict
PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Project Management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Asana, Xledger, Planning Center, Canva, Azumur and other related software.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Planning,Organizational Leadership, Hospitality, Ministry, or a related field required
- At least two years of experience in ministry, organizational leadership, operations, customer service, event planning, or related field
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time during events
- Must be able to work a variety of hours to accommodate events
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
