JOB SUMMARY
The IT Projects and Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the IT team’s work on projects – both those initiated by IT and those initiated by TPCC ministries. This individual will act as the primary connection between the IT team and ministry teams in the discovery of, definition of, and execution of projects and project IT related requirements.
The IT Projects and Solutions Manager is responsible for leading the IT Products Specialist in the IT team’s efforts related to increasing awareness, working knowledge, and adoption of available IT solutions by staff and volunteers; and maximizing ministry outcomes by guiding and counseling ministries. This individual will lead IT team efforts to identify where and how our technical solutions are best applied, leading research regarding what solutions and services are needed to address ministry needs, and orchestrating the delivery of such solutions..

TEAM MANAGEMENT FUNCTION
- Direct the work of the IT Products Specialist
- Partner with the IT Applications Manager and the IT Systems Manager and the IT Director to lead the ITteam
- Actively engage as a leader in the IT team
- Assure focus and alignment of the IT team (IT ProductsSpecialist in particular) with the ITstrategy
PROJECT MANAGEMENT FUNCTION
- Lead all efforts within the IT team toidentify, define,and execute projects and project deliverables.
- Work with ministries and IT team members embedded within ministries toidentifyprojects early toassureoptimaltime to clarify and execute.
- Work in partnership with the IT Applications Manager and IT Systems Manager(and whenneededthe IT Director)to prioritize workitems assigned to the IT team and to communicate those priorities as well as work statusand state with ministry personnel.
- Facilitate definition of projecttasks and timelines, as well asidentifyingand managing project dependencies
BUSINESS ANALYST FUNCTION

PRODUCT FUNCTION
- Lead the IT Products Specialist to partner with the IT Applications Manager, and the IT Systems Manager to create processes and practices tooptimizethe deployment and use of technology in ministry atTPCC
- Lead IT Products Specialist, andparticipateinfrequentlymeeting with ministry teams to clarifyobjectivesand manage expectations with relation to where and how technology can/will be used to meet TPCC and ministryobjectives
- Partner withthe rest of theIT Leadership team to assure alignment of ITproducts andsolutions with strategies, needs, technology best practices, and budgetparameters
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- This position reports directly totheIT Director
- Participate as member ofthe ITstaffand the IT Lead Team,and attend applicable meetings andrequiredspecialevents
- Work closely with the ITDirector,IT Systems Manager, and IT Applications Manager to effectively lead the IT team and lead TPCCin regard toapplication of technology in performing ministry work
