About the RoleTrademarkia® and LegalForce RAPC Worldwide P.C. are seeking an exceptionally bright, highly motivated Entry-Level Legal Assistant to join our Mountain View office. This role is designed for a future law student (targeting law school in 2–4 years) who wants hands-on experience in litigation, patents, trademarks, and legal operations before attending law school.
You will work directly with U.S. attorneys in Silicon Valley on all facets of litigation, intellectual property matters, client development, and office management. This is a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you will develop skills that will give you a significant advantage in law school and your legal career.
This position is 100% in-person at our Mountain View headquarters and is ideal for candidates who want meaningful mentorship, real responsibility, and exposure to cutting-edge legal issues involving technology, intellectual property, and AI-enabled legal work.
Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation Support (Training Provided)- Assist attorneys with drafting, editing, and preparing pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
- Conduct factual research, case law checks, and document organization.
- Support deposition preparation, hearing binders, and trial materials.
- Monitor dockets, deadlines, and case status updates.
- Organize evidence, exhibits, and litigation files (physical and digital).
- Assist with trademark filings, monitoring, and correspondence.
- Support patent intake, prior art research, and application management.
- Prepare client communication and filing packets under attorney supervision.
- Maintain daily office operations in the Mountain View headquarters.
- Greet clients, manage scheduling, coordinate meetings, and handle administrative requests.
- Assist with mail, scanning, office organization, and business process tasks.
- Ensure the office is functioning smoothly and professionally.
You will receive structured training in:
- U.S. litigation and federal court procedure
- Patent and trademark fundamentals
- Legal writing, research, and file management
- Legal technology, AI-assisted research tools, and docket systems
- Client communication and law firm operations
This role is intentionally designed as a legal apprenticeship that will prepare you to succeed in law school and beyond.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from a top public or private university (Political Science, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields preferred).
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.7 or higher (required).
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information.
- Demonstrated interest in law school and the legal profession.
- Ability to work in person in Mountain View, CA, Monday–Friday.
- Prior internship or experience in law, public policy, research, or business.
- Interest in litigation, intellectual property, technology, or startups.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- $60,000 annual salary, negotiable based on experience/academic excellence.
