About This Role
The person in this role will also assist with light maintenance duties and other tasks assigned by leadership. The Landscaping Associate is responsible for collaborating with partners throughout the organization to drive exceptional client experiences. Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the work, the people, and the customers are key to achieving success in this role.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Perform venue gardening tasks, including but not limited to leaf-blowing, planting, watering, trimming, and garden maintenance, ensuring landscaping health while adhering to event timeline responsibilities in an efficient manner
- Maintain and repair hardscapes as needed
- Perform minor maintenance duties as directed
- Assist with event-day floral and greenery design as needed
- Assist the Event Planner and venue openers with set-up duties when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Grounds maintenance or labor experience required
- Experience with irrigation systems and basic lawn maintenance preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- ` Experience with maintenance and landscaping equipment preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for eight (8) hours or more in a fast-paced, indoor/outdoor environment requiring movement.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop, bend and climb stairs
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills a plus
