Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable Equipment Operator / Site Worker to join our crew specializing in driveway installations, parking lot preparation, and excavation work. This position involves operating equipment as well as hands-on site work such as grading, prep, and cleanup. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment such as backhoe/loader and skidsteer
- Perform grading, leveling, and site preparation for driveways and parking lots
- Assist with excavation, digging, and material placement (stone, gravel, etc.)
- Rake, shovel, and fine-grade surfaces to ensure proper finish
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Help with layout and prep for asphalt or concrete installation
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements:
- Experience operating skid steer and/or backhoe/loader preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, raking, shoveling, etc.)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Strong work ethic and reliability (show up on time, ready to work)
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a crew
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
