Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Phoenix, AZ for a Concrete Superintendent. The Concrete Superintendent will oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities related to concrete projects. Responsibilities include supervising formwork installation, ensuring quality in flatwork and ready-mix concrete applications, coordinating with teams to operate heavy equipment, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The role also involves monitoring safety compliance, managing site workers, and collaborating with project stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Formwork and Carpentry techniques
- Experience operating and managing Heavy Equipment related to concrete construction
- Knowledge of Flatwork and Ready Mix Concrete processes
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities
- Experience in safety compliance practices and procedures
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in construction is highly desired
