We are seeking a responsible and energetic Beach Attendant to join our waterfront team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in keeping recreational spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. The Beach Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the beach, assisting with watercraft rentals, performing light landscaping and maintenance duties, and ensuring guests have a positive and safe experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Rake and groom the beach daily to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
Assist guests with watercraft rentals (e.g., kayaks, paddleboards), including launching and securing equipment.
Perform minor landscaping duties such as trimming, weeding, and general groundskeeping.
Carry out light outdoor maintenance and cleaning tasks, including emptying trash bins and maintaining picnic areas.
Monitor beach areas for safety concerns and report hazards to management.
Provide friendly, helpful service to guests and answer basic questions about the beach or rental process.
Ensure equipment is properly stored, maintained, and accounted for at the end of the day.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old.
Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Physically able to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Basic knowledge of water safety and small watercraft (non motored) is a plus but not required.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work weekends and holidays is preferred.
CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus
