Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule/Shift: 4th Shift | Current schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday | 6am-4:30pm (must also be available to work Sundays, as the schedule may occasionally shift to include Saturday and Sunday, along with two weekdays)
- Pay: Base pay at $21.42/hr $1.00/hr shift differential

What will you do? Make an impact!
As a Lab Chemist, you’ll play a vital role supporting safe and compliant hazardous waste operations by performing routine laboratory testing and analysis. This is a great opportunity for hands-on, detail-oriented individuals with a strong interest in chemistry who want stable, weekly pay and the chance to work in an essential, safety-focused industry. Whether you’re early in your lab career or bringing practical lab experience to the table, this role offers consistency, learning, and impact.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable EPA testing methods and requirements.
- Conduct all analytical testing, including pH, moisture content, oxidation, and titration.
- Process waste samples daily, including but not limited to fuel compatibility, bomb calorimetry, GC analysis, and metals analysis.
- Perform daily calibration of laboratory equipment such as calorimeters, pH meters, GC-MS, and GC-FID.
- Provide expertise in instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair as needed.
- Provide additional support in standards preparation, record-keeping, and other general laboratory duties as assigned.
- Properly dispose of laboratory-generated wastes.
- Maintain adequate laboratory supplies.
- Keep the laboratory area clean, safe, and well-organized.
Do you have what it takes?
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field preferred.
- Previous laboratory and bench chemistry experience preferred, with the ability to perform hands-on analytical testing and work safely in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Willingness to work in an industrial setting with some outdoor exposure and handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials while utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to wear a respirator and other required PPE as needed.
