DESCRIPTION:
Trade Team USA is seeking experienced A Class Marine Electricians for a long-term submarine construction opportunity.
There are currently 10 openings for the upcoming class. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of marine electrical experience; however, candidates with more extensive hands-on marine electrical experience are strongly encouraged due to the anticipated difficulty of the A Class Electrical Test.
Selected candidates will enter an EB training program after onboarding. Electricians will receive training in submarine-specific skills and requirements before being released to perform work in the field.
This opportunity is currently accepting A Class Marine Electricians ONLY. B Class candidates are not being accepted at this time.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of marine electrical experience required for submission.
  • Must qualify as an A Class Marine Electrician.
  • U.S. Citizens only.
  • Must successfully pass the required A Class Electrical Test.
  • Must successfully complete the required EB background screening.
  • Must successfully pass the required drug screening.
  • Must successfully complete pre-badging requirements.
  • Must be available to work Day or Night Shift.
  • Must be available for the November 26, 2026 orientation/training class.
  • Must complete testing, background screening, and pre-badging no later than November 19, 2026.
  • Must be willing to complete EB's required submarine-specific training program before being released into the field.

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Candidates should have strong hands-on marine/shipboard electrical experience, including applicable experience with:
  • Marine electrical installation

  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Electrical testing
  • Reading and interpreting marine electrical drawings and schematics
  • Electrical panels and distribution systems
  • Shipboard power systems

  • Perform A Class electrical work in support of submarine construction.
  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair marine electrical systems and components.
  • Read and interpret applicable electrical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Install, route, connect, and terminate electrical cables and components.
  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting using appropriate test equipment.
  • Work with shipboard electrical panels, equipment, and power-distribution systems as assigned.

  • Safely operate electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Perform electrical work in an active marine/shipbuilding environment.
  • Complete required EB submarine-specific skills training.
  • Follow all applicable safety, quality, security, and production requirements.
