Why Work at Trade Pacific

We offer a collaborative working environment, flexible working options, and the opportunity to work closely with a team of dedicated trade experts. As a boutique firm, each team member’s contributions are highly valued and play a critical role in delivering the customized, exceptional service our clients expect.

Position Overview

Trade Pacific PLLC is seeking an associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience in international trade law, someone with the drive to build their career alongside experienced practitioners in a supportive, collegial setting. The right candidate will take on meaningful work representing clients across a broad range of trade matters including antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission, customs counseling and representation before U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Associates may also advise clients in connection with Section 201, 232, 301, and other proceedings impacting trade.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in trade remedy, customs law, or a closely related field, along with active bar membership in good standing (D.C. Bar or eligibility to waive in). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple matters in a team environment.

Prior experience at a federal agency, such as the Department of Commerce, USITC, CBP, or USTR, or at a trade-focused law firm is a plus, as is familiarity with AD/CVD questionnaire practice, customs proceedings, or trade policy and compliance work. Foreign language proficiency is welcome but not required.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, supplemented by bonuses tied to performance, merit, and productivity. Our benefits package includes health and dental coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Associates enjoy a collaborative firm culture, hybrid work flexibility, and a convenient Washington, D.C. location. We do not impose comprehensive timekeeping requirements, and we are committed to supporting each attorney’s professional growth and development.

How to Apply

Qualified candidates are invited to submit a cover letter describing their interest in the position and relevant experience, along with a resume, to careers@tradepacificlaw.com. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
