Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, be comfortable operating various vehicles, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including warehouse maintenance and clean up as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients during delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in warehouse operations is preferred, including familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Proficient in driving box trucks and vans; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification may be required.
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Must Have a Valid Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass motor vehicle background check
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs
