Overview:
The Field Services Coordinator works with jobsite supervisors, superintendents and project management teams to coordinate construction personnel and equipment for activities in the field. This role will study job scopes to assist in coordinating and planning appropriate resources for construction projects. The Field Services Coordinator must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment. This position will be based at the Joor Road location but will be required to visit jobsites at various locations on a regular basis. This position will report directly to the Director of Construction.
Responsibilities:

- Coordinate tools and materials to ensure timely delivery in alignment with project schedules.
- Collaborate with field supervision to manage personnel and equipment to complete projects.
- Support field supervision in ensuring that workmanship meets specifications and schedules are maintained.
- Coordinate and oversee all field equipment, tools and personnel at the yard.
- Support and participate in employee development efforts.
- Comply with all Trade’s Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures.
- Assist Director of Construction to develop consistent and simple processes for the construction team.
- Report any unsafe conditions wherever they exist to the safety department, their supervisor, or the management of Trade Construction immediately.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent or 10 yrs experience in the industrial construction field.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Basic computer knowledge and software use (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on steel or wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
- Position may involve prolonged twisting, walking, reaching overhead, squatting, sitting, standing, and lifting.
- Must be able to navigate uneven terrain, ladders, and multi-story buildings without elevator access.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, supervisors, and field personnel.
- Strong verbal and written comprehension skills to accurately give and receive instructions.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics and the ability to perform necessary calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Demonstrate leadership and motivational abilities, including the capacity to mentor others.
