We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong automotive knowledge and excellent customer service skills. This role involves responding to roadside assistance calls, safely towing vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction during every interaction.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to transport vehicles safely.
- Perform automotive diagnostics and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during the process.
- Manage conflicts effectively, providing exceptional customer service in stressful situations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure they are in good working order.
- Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Drive safely and responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
- BACKGROUND CHECK
- RANDOM DRUG TESTING
- VALID DRIVER LICENSE
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Ability to perform automotive diagnostics effectively.
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle various customer interactions professionally.
- Previous mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
