Job Title: Customer Analyst
Department: Supply Chain Management, Customer Service
Reports To: Customer Service Assistant Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Analyst to support customer order management, communication, and documentation activities within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate orders, on time deliveries, and a strong customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast paced, manufacturing driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management and Customer Support
- Receive and confirm customer orders through email, EDI, and customer portals
- Enter and maintain customer orders in the MRP system with accurate pricing, delivery dates, and part information
- Review purchase orders to ensure alignment with products, packaging, pricing, and delivery terms
- Coordinate with internal teams to support customer delivery requirements
- Respond to customer questions and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Escalate urgent or complex issues to the Customer Service Assistant Manager as needed
- Release customer orders in the system following internal verification requirements
Customer Service Operations
- Perform daily responsibilities aligned with department assignments and annual goals
- Follow established Customer Service processes and procedures
- Support continuous improvement efforts within the department
Trade Documentation Support
- Manage Country of Origin and trade documentation requests
- Prepare and send supplier documentation requests for new or revised parts and annual updates
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain required documentation
- Maintain organized records and meet customer submission deadlines
- Support internal departments with trade related information as requested
Compliance and Systems
- Follow internal safety, quality, environmental, and internal control requirements
Additional Responsibilities
- Support department leadership with team objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned to support customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of customer service or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Experience with MRP or ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross functionally
