Pay: $22.26 - $23.48 per hour
Schedule:

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, following safety protocols for medical imaging.
- Maintain accurate medical records for patients, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide excellent patient care by preparing patients for treatments, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic to optimize efficiency.
- Support pediatric patients by creating a comfortable environment and using appropriate communication techniques.
- Assist with general dentistry tasks, including taking impressions and applying fluoride treatments.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality care is delivered consistently.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental assisting practices, including familiarity with medical coding and systems.
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding of medical imaging techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients of all ages, particularly in pediatrics.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is a plus.
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
