Tracy Eyecare Center is a locally owned optometry practice in Murray, KY. We’re a small team that values taking great care of our patients and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. It is our mission to make every patient feel special and to deliver them the best in eyecare.
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. This role is important because you’ll often be the first point of contact for our patients — whether it’s on the phone or when they arrive for their appointment. The right person for this position enjoys working with people, communicates clearly, and takes pride in helping things run smoothly throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
- Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist patients with paperwork when needed
- Maintain all patient communications
- Verify all medical and vision insurance information
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collect payments for services
- Help keep the front desk area organized and running efficiently
- Be willing to learn and assist with other tasks that help the office operate smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, especially with data entry and patient information
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
- Strong composure during all situations
- A positive attitude and willingness to help the team where needed
