Your mission- Respond quickly and professionally to keep facility assets operational and the environment safe for team members, vendors, and visitors.
- Own preventive and corrective work on conveyors, forklifts and other power equipment, industrial batteries, dock systems, racking, lighting, and HVAC.
- Continuously monitor equipment for safe, proper performance—repair issues and clearly communicate status.
- Follow vendor procedures exactly and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Make smart prioritization calls based on impact to the business.
- Teach and mentor peers to elevate team capability.
- Maintain uncompromising compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash requirements.
- Support additional general maintenance assignments as needed.
Use the CMMS to record every part and every minute so inventory accuracy and man-hour reporting stay rock-solid.
What you bring- Experience: 3 years in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse environment maintaining powered equipment with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems (preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; added coursework or on-the-job training in mechanical, electrical, welding, and HVAC controls.
- Certifications: Trade/technical credentials are a plus; MHE certification or specialized training preferred. Significant field tenure may count as an equivalent.
- Technical literacy: Able to interpret service manuals, assembly drawings, and schematics (print or digital) and navigate basic computer applications.
- Warehouse setting with temperature swings, active mobile/fixed equipment, potential exposure to hazardous products and dust, and other typical conditions.
- Noise, temperature, and air quality may vary throughout the shift.
