Tractor Shed Café & Farm Stand – Holderness, NH
Tractor Shed Café & Farm Stand is a growing, locally owned breakfast and lunch café known for fresh, scratch-made food and exceptional guest service. We're looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.

What You'll Do
- Prepare fresh ingredients for daily café service.
- Bake scones, muffins, cookies, and other bakery items.
- Prepare soups, sauces, salads, quiche, breakfast items, sandwich components, and desserts.
- Cook breakfast and lunch menu items during café service.
- Help prepare and execute our popular Friday and Saturday evening prix fixe dinners (approximately every other week).
- Assist with catering events as our catering program grows.
- Fill in for the Lead Cook when needed.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
- Work with the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial kitchen experience required.
- Scratch cooking experience preferred.
- Reliable, organized, and dependable.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and food quality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Weekend availability required.
- ServSafe certification is required. We will cover the cost of certification updates and renewal fees after hire.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Regular schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, primarily daytime prep and café service. Additional catering and occasional evening dinner shifts may be available.
