We are looking to hire and A tech to fulfill an opening within the shop.
If your looking for a change of pace with good pay look no further. Guranteed 40 hours with plenty of overtime. Health insurance and paid time off. ASE's not required but would be beneficial since we are a AAA repair facility. Must have own tools and tool box. Will pay for any moving costs incurred with moving tool box. Holiday bonuses and paid holidays.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and overhaul mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
- Work with automotive service manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on various vehicle makes and models.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to the road.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair.
- Skilled in automotive electrical systems, transmissions, wheel alignment, suspension systems, and brake repair.
- Familiarity with schematics reading and troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on vehicle maintenance and auto estimating.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
