Responsibilities
- Support talent acquisition efforts by assisting with recruiting processes, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) management, and candidate screening
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated effectively into the organization
- Assist with employee evaluation processes, including performance management documentation and feedback collection
- Manage benefits administration tasks such as enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
- Maintain accurate HR data through data entry in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors
- Aid in compliance activities by ensuring adherence to employment law, OSHA regulations, FMLA guidelines, and other legal requirements
- Support HR projects related to workforce management, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and organizational design initiatives
- Handle confidential information with integrity while providing excellent communication support within the HR department
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within an HR department
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory standards such as OSHA and FMLA
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, UltiPro) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully and professionally
- Experience with recruiting tools such as ATS platforms (iCIMS, Lever) or social media management for talent sourcing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities through project management skills and organizational design understanding
- Knowledge of payroll processing systems like ADP or Paychex is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high standards of accuracy in data collection and entry
