Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure all products are stored correctly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages in a fine dining or nightclub environment.
Skills
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient order management.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Prior experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or catering services is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices related to food handling.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
- Background in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is advantageous.
