Position Summary: TRACK is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction professional to train and mentor the next generation of heavy equipment operators using advanced simulator technology and classroom instruction.
Responsibilities
- Train students using heavy equipment simulators.
- Teach safe equipment operation and OSHA best practices.
- Share real-world heavy civil construction knowledge and jobsite expectations.
- Mentor students with little or no construction experience.
- Evaluate student progress and provide coaching.
- Prepare students for successful careers in the construction industry.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of heavy civil construction experience.
- Previous Heavy Equipment Operator experience required.
- Experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, or Foreman preferred.
- Experience training, mentoring, or developing new employees.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable using computers (simulator training provided).
- Valid driver's license.
