Warehouse and Materials Supervisor
Summary
This is a hands-on role for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves. You’ll manage all aspects of warehouse and materials operations while actively participating in day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate is a jack-of-all-trades who can balance tactical execution with strategic thinking—someone eager to lead a team, coach others, and drive continuous improvement.
You Will Be Responsible For
Leading and managing warehouse and materials processesCoaching and developing team members while staying hands-onOverseeing inventory control, material movement, and warehouse organizationLeading shipping and receiving operationsResponsibilities:

Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and collaboration.Hands-On Leadership: Actively participate in warehouse operations while supervising, training, and coaching team members in shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Review time cards and conducting performance evaluations. Team Development: Mentoring and holding the team accountable for performance and process adherence.Operational Excellence: Ensure and participate in accurate material movement, staging, clocking, issuing and closing orders in M2M; correct errors and provide coaching.Organize warehouse layout and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.Oversee and conduct staging, job order picking, packing standards, and timely material flow.Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency through technology adoption and process enhancements.Logistics & Cost Control: Coordinate freight movement, negotiate carrier contracts, and troubleshoot shipping/receiving issues to prevent recurrence.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional customer service.Compliance & Safety: Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to all company policies, ESD/PPE procedures, and regulatory requirements.Other duties as assigned.
Experience
3 years of experience in warehouse operations, materials management.Prior experience in a hands-on supervisory or lead role; proven ability to coach and develop team members.Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (experience with M2M or similar preferred). Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving processes, and warehouse organization. Preferred Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements. Comfortable with technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
Physical & Other Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment.Commitment to safety and compliance with PPE and ESD standards.Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.Must pass federal-level background check and drug screening upon offer.Why Tracewell?
