Responsibilities
The selected candidate’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide technical, operational, or programmatic support within assigned functional area
- Install, configure, maintain, and/or troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper networks
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security
- Support implementation of new technologies and system enhancements
- Analyze and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to support mission requirements
- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, standards, and security requirements
- An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance
- 2 years of relevant experience in IT networking
- Cisco Command line experience
- Current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline Certification (Security CE, or equivalent)
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Network , CCNA, etc.)
- Experience supporting DoD or government environments
- Juniper command line experience
- Prior experience in a similar role or operational environment
- High School Diploma or GED
