The Apartment Leasing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.

Job Requirements:
Performs leasing, marketing, customer service and administrative duties, to include:
- Leases and markets vacant and upcoming apartments
- Assists in the inspections of vacant apartments and takes appropriate action to prepare them for leasing
- Maintains a detailed knowledge of the property, amenities and community.
- Provides a daily inspection of show apartments and model appearance.
- Handles all aspects of leasing apartments, including greeting prospective residents, touring the property, closing the sale, processing applications, preparing leases, following up with prospects, obtains signatures for completion of leases/paperwork prior to move-in.
- Maintains an acceptable closing ratio in order to obtain optimum occupancy.
- Completes all leasing paperwork
- Compiles and processes applications for approval
- Explains lease and all appropriate addenda to new resident
- Assists with resident relations and posting on social media
- Shows apartments to prospective leases
- Accepts rental payments
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have reliable transportation in order to conduct market surveys, attend meetings, visit area businesses, purchase, and pick up supplies for resident and community functions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
