Responsibilities and Duties
- Assists in production operations driving daily throughput from production lines.
- Performs preventative maintenance on lines.
- Maintains inventory on parts and equipment for their assigned area.
- Assists with any maintenance work on company property as needed.
- Assists with repairing and installing production equipment.
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to blueprints, operating manuals, and schematics.
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems with non-functioning equipment.
- Helps maintain cleanliness in the production, warehouse, and other storage areas.
- Assists with fleet vehicles and trailers for licensing and maintenance.
- May assist in working in liquid mineral harvesting division.
- Any other management assigned activity.
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and experience in manufacturing maintenance operations.
- Experience with operating maintenance equipment.
- Good Technical knowledge.
- Must possess good communication skills.
- Forklift Certification a plus.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent standing and walking with ability to conduct indoor and outdoor activities
- Maintain a positive attitude, and an enthusiasm about the mission of the company, company direction, and in doing what is necessary to help the company achieve its goals.
- Maintain a consistent schedule.
- When the schedule must be rearranged, make sure that all essential tasks will be covered by someone else, or are completed on schedule.
- Refrain from gossip about co-workers or the company.
- Use time efficiently and keep on task.
- If tasks are completed, look for other things to do to keep busy and ask people how to help. Show initiative and avoid wasting time.
- Keep personal phone calls, visitors, and non-work-related conversations to an absolute minimum.
- Maintain a high level of professional integrity and trustworthiness.
- Get along well with co-workers and others.
