Senior Billing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ability to work effectively in Microsoft excel (Incl. Pivot Tables, Formulas, etc.),In house software systems, Application support, JIRA, and Internal/External websites (Raw EDI, SSL/Terminal sites, etc.)
• Ability to learn and use knowledge of in house systems, contracts, and business rules to ensure accurate billing.
• Work effectively with peers to foster a positive working environment and support overall team productivity
• Create and facilitate process improvements to maximize the team’s productivity and confirm process implementation success.
• Train members of billing team on new processes, and reports.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate work to team members as managed by their supervisor.
• Handle closing quality control process for their assigned areas
• Willingness and ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Ability to work in various pools as needed using transferrable knowledge
• Ability to learn new systems and processes to support business changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred, but not required
• 2 years experience in transportation or similar role preferred
• Ability to learn and adapt to in-house software systems
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic working environment
• Ability to identify problems, process resolution and implement timely action or solution
• Ability to meet deadlines; prioritize workloads and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to perform data entry type functions
  
  

Special Position Requirements

• Some evening and weekend work required.
• No travel required.
  
  

Work Environment

• This position requires long periods sitting behind a desk and heavy data entry.
• This job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions.
• Tempo is fast-paced with stringent deadlines.
  
  

Hourly pay rate budget: $26.70 plus 5% incentive bonus

Compensation is determined by a variety of factors including candidate qualifications as well as the geographic location of the role and/or candidate.
