Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate is able to operate forklift and machinery, lift up to 75 pounds, and be comfortable working in difficult temperatures as this role is in an outdoor warehouse yard. This role requires a highly-motivated individual with a strong work ethic who does not mind working in a lumber yard environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sand wood and move lumber; lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Operate and maintain forklifts (Sit-Down Forklift experience required; certification a plus)
- Assist with yard clean-up and organization
- Work safely in hot weather; follow all safety protocols (no phones/earbuds)
- Support supervisors in meeting daily production goals
Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Sit-Down Forklift experience required; certification a plus
- Previous warehouse, yard, or distribution center experience preferred
- Strong attention to safety and ability to follow supervisor direction
- Must have reliable transportation and wear steel-toed shoes
- Available for at least 3 weeks; potential for temp-to-perm
