About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and skilled multi trades Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, repairs, and general construction tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring our facilities, properties, and new homes remain safe and in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Maintain appliances in upscale rental units to ensure continuous service
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Respond to work orders and emergency repair requests
- Maintain records of maintenance services, operating manuals, and parts inventory
- Arrange for subcontract work and ensure it’s completed in a neat and professional manner
- Prepare rental units during turnover
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Periodically inspect buildings and grounds to determine necessary preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a multi trades technician
- Strong communication skills to assist with working with the residents
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, painting, drywall, flooring, and carpentry
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license
