Tool Maker - The Toro Company

Pay: $16 /hr based on skillset RESPONSIBILITIES: Build a variety of tools, engineering changes, molds, templates, fixtures and jigs. Set-up, adjusts and operates all types of machine shop equipment. Select and lay out materials. Draw sketches and calculate dimensions as required. Repair or modify existing tools. Calculate shrink rate dimensions for different plastics. Team player with the ability to work on miniature, close-tolerance parts and fixtures with minimum supervision. Train mold technicians to increase their knowledge and skills in the areas of troubleshooting and mold repair techniques. Adheres to approved Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. REQUIREMENTS: High school or equivalent preferred Demonstrate acceptable layout welding skills and quality Able to communicate effectively over the phone and before small groups of people. Demonstrate basic computer skills. Have appropriate reading, clerical, and basic mathematical skills.
