In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: Assist with design, prototyping, and development of new products and improvements to existing products Conduct required tests, collect data, and analyze results for new or existing products Design tests or test fixtures as needed Recognize and help with problem solving efforts in the Product Development Lab. Work with operations engineers to reduce costs and help improve quality of product What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: Pursuing a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo Parametric is a plus Basics of manufacturing processes such as welding, metal cutting and forming, painting and assembly Knowledgeable in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials Strong analytical and organizational skills Strong leadership skills to lead a project and pull information from others Problem solving skills Basic understanding of hydraulic systems is preferred Mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical skills preferred Demonstrated computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Creo Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Ability to work on multiple projects at one time What Can We Give You?
