Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and providing attentive service throughout their dining experience. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their meal.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to quality standards.
• Process payments using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.

Skills

• Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS or Micros POS, is an asset.
• Background in hospitality or hotel services is beneficial for enhancing guest relations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.24 - $26.79 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
