About TQA

Headquartered in Texas, USA, we’re an international technology services and consultancy, partnering with enterprises across North America and Europe to deliver next-generation results through emerging technologies.

With delivery centers in Romania, the Philippines, and LATAM and offices in Austin, Alabama, Cardiff, and London, we are expanding rapidly in 2025 and beyond. This is an exciting time to join us as we scale our global presence, innovate with automation, AI, and data, and empower businesses to transform their industries.

At our core, we believe in innovation, impact, and growth—both for our clients and our people. We offer an accelerated career path, giving you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, develop your expertise, and grow into leadership roles quickly. If you're looking for a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can make a real impact, this is the place for you.

About the Role

The Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect sets the technical direction for our most ambitious Power Platform engagements. You will design, build, and deploy Power Platform solutions for enterprise clients, with Agentic AI agents as a core capability across our delivery portfolio.

This is a hands-on architect role with three centres of gravity: solution design, build-and-deploy delivery, and team leadership. You will be the technical authority a client trusts to make the right call, the lead a delivery team looks to for direction, and a voice in shaping how TQA's Microsoft practice scales.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture

  • Lead end-to-end solution design for complex Power Platform engagements, applying the Power Platform Well-Architected framework across all five pillars: Reliability, Security, Operational Excellence, Performance Efficiency, and Experience Optimization.
  • Make and defend component choices across Power Apps (canvas, model-driven, Power Pages), Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows), Dataverse, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.
  • Define environment strategy, ALM approach, security model, and integration patterns for each engagement.
  • Build and maintain TQA reference architectures for recurring Power Platform patterns, so each engagement starts ahead of the curve.

Hands-on Build and Delivery

  • Architect, build, and deploy production solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows), Dataverse, Power Pages, and Power BI.
  • Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents using generative orchestration, generative actions, knowledge sources, and autonomous triggers, with appropriate guardrails for enterprise use.
  • Build secure, scalable integrations with line-of-business systems using custom connectors, Dataverse virtual tables, and the Power Platform connector ecosystem.
  • Lead deployment and go-live across development, test, and production environments, with rollback and operational readiness planned in from the start.

Client Engagement

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients across North America, translating commercial intent into technical scope.
  • Lead discovery sessions, design workshops, and architecture reviews with stakeholders ranging from business sponsors to enterprise architects.
  • Communicate complex technical decisions in plain language, with the rationale, trade-offs, and risks visible.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor a team of Power Platform consultants and developers, with responsibility for technical quality, code review standards, and individual growth.
  • Set and enforce delivery standards across the practice: solution design templates, peer review processes, definition of done.
  • Support career development for the team through coaching, certification planning, and exposure to senior client work.

Presales and Practice Building

  • Support presales engagements: solution shaping, effort estimation, technical proposal writing, and client pitches.
  • Contribute to the evolution of TQA's Microsoft and agentic AI offerings, including reusable Power Platform and Copilot Studio reference architectures.
  • Champion Power Platform governance, security, and CI/CD practices, including Managed Environments, ALM Accelerator, and DLP policy design.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant Microsoft Power Platform experience, with at least 3 of those hands-on across Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
  • 2 years in a senior, lead, or supervisory role, with a track record of building and mentoring delivery teams.
  • Power Platform governance fluency: Managed Environments, CoE Starter Kit, ALM Accelerator, DLP policy design, environment strategy, and the Microsoft Entra ID security model.
  • Demonstrable client-facing experience: requirements gathering, solution shaping, technical leadership in front of senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English, with the ability to make complex technical decisions accessible to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound commercial judgement on trade-offs between technical elegance, time, and cost.

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications: PL-200 (Functional Consultant Associate) or PL-400 (Developer Associate), and PL-600 (Solution Architect Expert).
  • Microsoft Azure certifications, particularly AZ-204 (Developer Associate), AI-102 (Azure AI Engineer Associate), or AZ-305 (Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Azure AI integration experience, particularly Microsoft Foundry Agent Service, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, or AI Builder, for solutions that extend beyond the native Power Platform AI surface.
  • Microsoft Fabric experience, particularly OneLake and workloads such as Data Factory, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI, for solutions with an enterprise data and analytics dimension.
  • Power Pages experience for external-facing portals.
  • Experience setting up or operating a Power Platform Centre of Excellence at enterprise scale.
  • Presales experience inside a Microsoft Solutions Partner organisation.

What Working at TQA Looks Like:

This is a role for an architect who wants to operate at the leading edge of Microsoft and agentic AI without losing connection to delivery. You will work alongside senior architects, AI engineers, and consultants who care as much about outcomes as they do about technology. The Microsoft practice is growing quickly, and the path from Senior Architect to Practice Lead or Principal Architect is real and short for the right person.

We believe in:

  • Outcomes, not hype. We focus on business results, not technology for technology's sake.
  • Broad and deep expertise. We connect legacy, cloud, and emerging platforms, with the integration know-how to make enterprise AI work in production.
  • Be human, every day. Empathy, curiosity, and collaboration shape how we work with each other and with our clients.

If you want to architect what comes next in enterprise Power Platform and agentic AI, alongside people who will challenge and back you in equal measure, we would like to talk.

TQA is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome your application and believe in diversity of experience and opinion. Applications will be considered without regard to education, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation, and beliefs. We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view and believe passionately that employing a diverse workforce is central to our growth and success, so we are building a culture where difference is valued.
