The Industrial Painter prepares and paints industrial ovens consistent with the Company's quality standards and customer delivery requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read technical drawings, reports, and work instructions.
- Clean, prepare, and condition surfaces of industrial ovens for painting.
- Apply necessary protective covering to protect unpainted surfaces and surrounding areas.
- Select and mix coating liquid to produce the desired color and result, according to specifications.
- Use appropriate painting techniques to complete the painting of industrial ovens.
- Paint industrial ovens and related parts and equipment.
- Disassemble, clean, and maintain painting equipment.
- Prepare required reports.
- Comply with all housekeeping procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Complete special projects, as assigned.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; three to five years of related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus. Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
