Description:
TPP Tech is a US-based pharmaceutical development and manufacturing company in San Diego, California. We operate an FDA-registered drug establishment with over 30 years of continuous cGMP operation, including sterile fill, lyophilization, and an on-site GLP laboratory.
We are hiring multiple Manufacturing Technicians across two areas: aseptic operations, and an upcoming oral solid dose and liquid production campaign. These are contract-to-hire positions with potential to convert to full-time based on performance. Schedule
Standard shift is 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, [Monday–Friday]. There is some flexibility on start time, but candidates must be able to start by 6:30 AM when required.
What you'll do — all roles
- Execute manufacturing operations per approved batch records and SOPs
- Complete batch record entries accurately and in real time
- Follow cGMP requirements, gowning procedures, and line clearance protocols
- Support material staging and dispensing
Aseptic operations
- Perform manufacturing operations in classified cleanroom environments
- Follow aseptic gowning and cleanroom behavior requirements
- Support sterile fill and lyophilization operations
- Support environmental monitoring activities
Oral solid dose and liquid
- Set up, operate, and clean tableting and liquid production equipment
Preferred, not required
- Prior cGMP manufacturing experience in either aseptic operations or oral solid dose/liquid
- Working knowledge of cGMP and batch record documentation
- Prior gowning qualification (aseptic roles)
We will train the right candidate. Attention to detail and reliable documentation practices matter more than a specific background.
Level and pay
Candidates will be placed at Technician I or Technician II based on experience. Placement within the posted range depends on level and depth of relevant cGMP experience.
Assignment length: [6 months], contract-to-hire.
