Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Marketing Advisor to lead strategic marketing and communication initiatives supporting Gas Distribution & Storage (GDS) operations across the U.S., primarily in Utah and Ohio. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships, overseeing creative agency partnerships, and driving data-informed marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, marketing strategy expertise, and experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns from planning through execution, optimization, and performance measurement.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business goals into effective marketing initiatives.
- Manage multiple marketing projects independently while ensuring timely delivery.
- Oversee campaign budgets, procurement, contracts, and invoice processing.
- Analyze campaign performance and leverage data to optimize future marketing efforts.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication materials.
- Manage external creative agencies for media, digital, and creative deliverables.
- Monitor regulatory compliance requirements for marketing and communications activities.
- Identify new marketing opportunities, tools, and customer engagement strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends and customer insights to drive innovation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- 7 years of progressive experience in marketing or corporate communications.
- Experience developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience managing creative agency relationships.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance using marketing metrics and insights.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Experience in the energy, utilities, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of energy conservation programs and regulatory marketing requirements.
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable marketing outcomes.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid schedule (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday onsite; Wednesday & Friday remote).
- Approximately 20% travel, primarily within the U.S. and Canada.
