Workstation Support Analyst III

Position Overview
We are seeking a Workstation Support Analyst III to join the Digital Workplace Services (DWS) team supporting enterprise desktop infrastructure across multiple locations. This role will serve as a key technical resource within the End User Computing (EUC) Engineering team, responsible for SCCM administration, desktop imaging, application packaging, software deployment, operating system management, and endpoint support in a large-scale Windows environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise desktop technologies, Microsoft SCCM/MECM administration, Group Policy, operating system deployment, and desktop automation within a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft SCCM/MECM enterprise environments.
- Package, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
- Design, manage, and maintain Windows operating system images for large corporate environments.
- Support desktop deployment automation, operating system migrations, and endpoint lifecycle management.
- Develop and implement software distribution strategies and deployment standards.
- Configure and manage Group Policies to support security and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot operating system, application, deployment, and configuration issues.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Provide technical expertise and strategic recommendations related to endpoint management technologies.
- Evaluate emerging desktop technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to the development of enterprise desktop standards, best practices, and documentation.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and support teams to ensure reliable workstation performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on SCCM/MECM administration, patch management, and software deployment experience.
- Experience managing and designing Windows OS images for large corporate environments.
- Experience implementing and managing Group Policy configurations and security policies.
- Experience utilizing automated desktop deployment technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, registry management, drivers, and unattended/silent installations.
- Experience troubleshooting desktop operating systems, software deployments, and endpoint management solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
