Job Title: Software Configuration Analyst
Location: Jackson MI (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Month Contract (Strong possibility of extension)
Duties:
We are seeking someone who can serve as a hands-on configuration expert for SAP SuccessFactors, partnering with HR and IT teams to ensure the system supports evolving business needs and delivers a seamless employee experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Configure SAP SuccessFactors modules—primarily Employee Central—to support evolving HR and business requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable system configurations aligned with organizational policies and compliance standards.
- Maintain data integrity through audits, validation rules, and proactive monitoring of system behavior.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions in partnership with IT and HR stakeholders.
- Support testing cycles including test script creation, execution, and defect resolution for releases, enhancements, and integrations.
- Optimize workflows and business rules to improve employee lifecycle processes (hire, transfer, termination, position changes).
- Manage security roles and permissions to ensure proper access controls and compliance.
- Document configuration changes, system logic, and process updates for audit and knowledge transfer purposes.
- Provide end user support including troubleshooting, training, and guidance on new features or process changes.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including HR Operations, IT, Payroll, and Compliance to ensure system alignment with business needs.
Skills:
- SAP SuccessFactors expertise with hands on configuration experience in Employee Central (required).
- Strong understanding of HR processes, data models, workflows, and employee lifecycle management.
- Ability to analyze functional requirements and convert them into technical configuration solutions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting HRIS issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting testing cycles, including regression, UAT, and release validation.
- Familiarity with security role design, permission groups, and compliance considerations.
- Strong documentation skills and comfort working in structured change management environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across HR, IT, and business teams.
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple configuration tasks simultaneously.
Remarks:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- SAP SuccessFactors certification in Employee Central or related modules is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and hands on HRIS configuration experience will be considered.
